  • While I was initially happy with Bronconnier's comment regarding Calgary having a high percentage of urban parkland, I then remembered that most of that must be contained in the Nose Hill Environmental Conservation Park, an area the city CAN'T develop.

  • Sadly, I have enough things going on that make me a slave to my PC... I don't need phone calls to be added to that list! Sure, I can fully understand the attraction of free Internet calls, not to mention the crazy-low rates for PC-to-Station calls, so that's why I'm looking into things like this:

  • I thought the comments about "Americans taking over our game" and "a little piece of Canadian culture that has conquered the hearts of millions of Americans" were a little odd, especially coming from a (presumably) Canadian author.

  • I didn't get the impression that the author of the article was actually taking himself seriously. I think it was more of a tongue-in-cheek piece meant to capitalize on the recent "convergence" of these major sports, with the emphasis (obviously) being on the one most recently completed.

  • The real problem here is the laptop manufacturer's quest for ever-higher power and ever-greater speed. The last time I checked, your average suit didn't need a 3GHz machine to run Excel or Outlook... That's gamers territory.
